Carolina Hurricanes center undergoes hand surgery

Harrison Tuttle, MD, a surgeon at Raleigh (N.C.) Orthopaedic, has operated on Carolina Hurricanes center Jack Drury's hand, according to a Dec. 13 report from The Hockey News.

Mr. Drury will be out "at least a few weeks"  following the surgery, according to the report.  

Mr. Drury suffered the injury in a Dec. 10 game against the San Jose Sharks while blocking a short in the first period. 

Dr. Tuttle specializes in elbow, hand and wrist care at Raleigh and has served as the hand surgery consultant to the Carolina Hurricanes since 2006.
