Centinel Spine saw worldwide disc replacement revenue of $20.9 million in the first quarter of 2024.
Five notes:
1. The company's revenue is a 47% year-over-year jump, and it outperformed its previous quarterly record from the fourth quarter of 2023, according to a news release.
2. Centinel Spine's total surgeon user-base is nearly 550 surgeons, representing 54% year-over-year growth and 8% sequential quarterly growth.
3. International total disc replacement sales were almost $5 million, growing 34% year-over-year.
4. More than 5,000 cases have been done with the Match-the-Disc prodisc C Vivo and prodisc C SK cervical disc implants since the 2022 release.
5. Centinel Spine CEO Steve Murray said in the release, "These first quarter results show that the momentum behind our prodisc cervical and lumbar business remains strong. The company set a new revenue record in Q1 2024 while surpassing an extremely strong performance in Q4 2023. Last year was a transformative year for Centinel Spine and set the foundation for accelerated growth moving forward—as demonstrated by our Q1 2024 performance."
