Orthopedic Specialists of Southwest Florida is moving into a new, expanded facility in Fort Myers, Fla., that is almost twice the size of its existing headquarters, according to an Oct. 16 report from Gulfshore Business.
Until last month, the practice had been in the same 38,000-square-foot facility for 23 years, even as it grew from four to 17 specialists.
Now, it will move into a 60,000-square-foot facility with upgraded diagnostic equipment, including six new X-ray machines and a new MRI machine.
The two-floor office will have 60 examination rooms. Orthopedic Specialists of Southwest Florida will also be opening an ASC adjacent to the new facility. Orthopedic Specialists will own 49% of the new ASC.
