Some of the largest orthopedic groups in the U.S. are growing in 2024 adding new locations, relocating to new spaces and more.

The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics

Bethesda, Md.-based Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics signed a lease for two spaces in Annapolis (Md.) Technology Park. The offices are expected to relocate in spring 2025.

The Bethesda, Md.-based Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics opened a new Summit Orthopedics location in Washington, D.C. Summit Orthopedics is a division of CAO.

EmergeOrtho

Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho opened a new orthopedic urgent care and physical therapy location in Mebane, N.C.

Rothman Orthopaedic Institute

Rothman opened a new office in Philadelphia on Dec. 9. The new facility replaces the Center City Philadelphia office. The practice also leased space in Newtown, Pa. 

Rothman Orthopaedic Institute unveiled its relocated Lake Nona office in Orlando, Fla.

OrthoVirginia

OrthoVirginia has relocated its Wytheville, Va., practice to the campus of Wytheville Community Hospital. 

Lynchburg-based OrthoVirginia is closing locations in Midlothian and Richmond, Va., and relocating to a new facility in Westchester, Va.

OrthoCarolina

Charlotte, N.C.-based OrthoCarolina has acquired Matthews Surgery Center, also in Charlotte, from Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health.
