Dr. Amber Randall surpasses 1,800 robotic-assisted knee replacements

Robotics

Flagstaff (Ariz.) Bone & Joint's Amber Randall, MD, has performed more than 1,800 robotic-assisted knee replacements, according to Flagstaff Business News.

Dr. Randall has been using the OMNIBotics bone morphing technology, which features a robotic cutting guide for planned bone resections for greater accuracy, since 2017.

The device eliminates the need for CT scans or MRIs and allows surgeons to perform virtual surgery on a digital model.

Since joining Flagstaff Bone & Joint in 2005, Dr. Randall has performed about 6,000 total knee replacements and 5,000 total hip replacements.
