St. George (Utah) Surgical Center was recently reported to be the first ASC in the state to use the Navio robotic-assisted surgical system for knee replacements, according to St. George News.
Three things to know:
1. Designed by Smith+Nephew, the Navio system aims to improve implant placement and alignment.
2. The robotic device is intended for total and partial knee replacement surgeries.
3. St. George Surgical Center is a physician-owned ASC that has been in operation since 1988.
