New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery has added sports medicine specialist Matthew Sikina, MD, at its Long Island location in Uniondale, N.Y., according to an Oct. 25 report from the Long Island Press.
Dr. Sikina specializes in the nonsurgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. He will join more than 40 physicians at HSS Long Island, which houses various orthopedic subspecialties, pain management and rheumatology.
During his residency training, Dr. Sikina specialized in treating patients with orthopedic injuries and chronic pain.
