Ryan Robertson, MD, has performed the first hip replacement at OrthoVirginia's new Westchester Operatory in Midlothian, Va., according to an Oct. 22 post on LinkedIn.
The operatory focuses on same-day procedures, including an "Ortho On Call" facility for emergency patient visits.
OrthoVirginia now offers hip replacements as outpatient surgeries, allowing patients to recover at home.
