Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for advanced total hip and knee replacement, shoulder replacement and spine surgery, the hospital said June 7.
The hospital has an onsite review in March to evaluate compliance with certification standards releated to patient education, communication and surgical care, according to a news release.
"Receiving these certifications from The Joint Commission is a testament to the exceptional skill and dedication of our medical staff," the hospital's CEO, Sheri Montgomery, said in the release. "We prioritize patient safety, innovation, and superior care in all our procedures, including spine surgery, hip and knee replacements and shoulder replacements. This achievement reinforces our position as a leader in orthopedic and spinal care."
