The NBA's Charlotte Hornets plan to house a Novant Health sports medicine and orthopedic center at its practice center, Charlotte Business Journal reported Feb. 27.
If the Charlotte City Council approves the project, the orthopedic clinic would open in 2026 and be available to the public.
The Winston-Salem, N.C.-based health system is one of the team's original corporate sponsors and extended its sponsorship with the team in September.
