Here are four physicians specializing in sport medicine that are helping lead World Wrestling Entertainment:
Jeffrey Dugas, MD. WWE Associate Medical Director. In addition to his role at the WWE, Dr. Dugas serves as the team physician for several colleges and high schools. He also provides sports medicine assistance for the Birmingham Barons, the AA affiliate of the Chicago White Sox; USA Cheer; and the Alabama Ballet.
Chris Robinson, DO. WWE Ringside Physician. Dr. Robinson joined WWE in December 2015 after three years in private practice with the CORE Institute in Phoenix. He served as a team physician for Gainesville-based University of Florida's football, soccer, softball, baseball, gymnastics, and men's and women's basketball and track and field teams.
Thomas Sisk, MD. Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Physician. Dr. Sisk is a sports medicine and primary care specialist at UPMC Orthopedics in Pittsburgh. He has done several research projects and given many presentations on athletic injuries at national and international conferences.
Jeff Westerfield, MD. WWE Ringside Physician. Dr. Westerfield is the WWE's ringside physician primarily for the NXT brand and the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla. He has been with the WWE since 2016 and was previously in private practice as an attending sports medicine physician in Tampa, Fla.
