Medical device company Catalyst OrthoScience has added Amy Ables, PhD, as its chief strategy officer effective immediately.
Catalyst focuses on the upper extremity orthopedics market, including a stemmed shoulder system that utilizes an anatomical ellipsoid head.
Dr. Ables has 20 years of medical device experience with more than 10 years in upper extremity orthopedics.
She has held leadership roles at Tornier, Wright Medical, Cutera and ATEC Spine, according to a Nov. 20 press release.
