Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy appointed Matt Wright to lead orthopedics and sports medicine, the health system said April 13.
Mr. Wright is currently COO of Mercy's Oklahoma region, according to a news release. In his new role, he will be the service line executive for orthopedics and sports medicine. He will work with Mercy physicians and leaders across Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma.
His appointment is the first of six new roles focusing on specialty care leadership. The other five roles will be cardiovascular, surgery and GI, neurosciences, oncology and women and children's health.
