The Center Orthopedics and Neurosurgical Care in Bend, Ore., has launched an online total joint replacement course for patients undergoing total knee and hip replacement procedures.
The eight-video series helps patients with pre-operative and recovery information, teaching them how to identify and prevent adverse symptoms.
The goal of the program is to help patients feel more in control, confident and prepared for surgery and recovery, according to a Feb. 14 press release.
