Practice Management

East Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopedics has created a new comprehensive spasticity management clinic, according to a Feb. 25 report from Providence Business News.

The clinic is led by Zachary Bohart, MD, a board-certified physiatrist and spasticity management expert.

It will offer three different treatments for spasticity, including Botox injection therapy, phenol nerve-block injection therapy and intrathecal baclofen pump placement and therapy.

Dr. Bohart and his team will also work with surgeons at other University Orthopedics locations to find additional surgical and nonsurgical treatment options for patients.
