Jacob Rodman, CEO of Raleigh (N.C.) Neurosurgical Clinic, was named to the board of directors for Medcura, the company said July 18.
The appointment was made as the company is preparing to launch its LifeGel flowable hemostat for spine surgery, according to a news release.
"He has helped to grow Raleigh Neurosurgical Clinic into one of the fastest-growing spine surgery center groups in the US," Jim Buck, CEO of Medcura, said in the release.. "Given Medcura's spine surgery focus as a market beachhead for LifeGel, Jacob is an outstanding addition and will provide expert insight guiding our commercialization of LifeGel into spine surgery centers and hospitals."
