Paul Blackburn, a pitcher for the New York Mets, had spine surgery at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, the MLB team said Oct. 22.
Mr. Blackburn had a cerebrospinal fluid leak repair on Oct. 11, according to a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. Wouter Schievink, MD, performed the case.
