Spine

Minimally invasive surgical technology specialist elliquence has signed a distribution agreement with Implanet, a medical technology company specializing in implants for orthopedic surgery.

The agreement covers U.S. distribution of Implanet’s ultrasonic bone scalpel used in endoscopic spine surgeries, according to a Sept. 25 news release.

The release also said that elliquence’s Surgi-Max Ultra platform delivers soft-tissue dissection and coagulation in endoscopic procedures, while Implanet’s Olea technology enables precise and efficient bone cutting.

By combining the two technologies, the release continued, surgeons are equipped with bone and soft-tissue management tools to enhance precision and outcomes during minimally invasive spine surgeries.
