Milwaukee Brewers player Christian Yelich is scheduled to undergo season-ending back surgery Aug. 16, according to an MLB.com report.
Spine surgeon Brandon Rebholz, MD, of Milwaukee-based Medical College of Wisconsin, will operate on Mr. Yelich, the team said.
Mr. Yelich is expected to be fully recovered for the 2025 season.
