Select Medical and Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai launched a specialized spine care program for acute or chronic spine patients, according to a July 31 news release.
The physical therapy program will be offered at 11 Select Physical Therapy locations in the Los Angeles region. Plans will be tailored to each patient and their goals.
"This partnership reflects our conservative spine care philosophy to offer patients non-invasive therapeutic options before turning to surgery, and it allows us to combine our medical and surgical expertise with Select Medical's extensive network and physical therapy experience," David Skaggs, MD, co-director of Cedars-Sinai Spine, said in the release.
Cedars-Sinai and Select Medical entered a joint venture partnership in 2021.
