Scilex, a company that develops non-opioid pain management products, added spine specialist Annu Navani, MD, to its board.
She served as CEO of Comprehensive Spine and Sports Center in Campbell, Calif., since 2008 and grew the practice across Northern and Southern California, according to a July 23 news release. She has also been chief medical officer of Boomerang Healthcare since 2022.
"I look forward to collaborating with my fellow board members and the talented team at Scilex to further advance the development of transformative pain management treatments that have the potential to change lives," Dr. Navani said in the release.
