Two U.S. surgeons joined Bioretec's scientific advisory board, the orthopedic medtech company said Aug. 16.
Pediatric orthopedic surgeon Verena Schreiber, MD, and spine surgeon Jeffrey Wang, MD, are among eight surgeons tapped globally to work with Bioretec's executve team, according to a news release. The company is focused on developing biodegradable orthopedic implants.
Dr. Schreiber is a surgeon at the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Orthopedic, Sports Health, and Spine Institute in Miami, Fla. Dr. Wang is co-director of the USC Spine Center in Los Angeles.
