Assure Holdings has acquired the assets of Neuroprotect Neuromonitoring, another intraoperative neuromonitoring company.
The assets include certain affiliated entities of Neuroprotect, including Colorado-based IONM provider NervePro owned by J. Paul Elliot, MD, of the Colorado Brain and Spine Institute, according to a Jan. 6 news release. NervePro received 1.5 million shares of common stock in Assure Holdings in the acquisition.
Assure will specifically acquire all accounts receivable for services after Dec. 1, 2022, as well as NervePro's contracts and business relationships.
NervePro performed 750 IONM managed cases and employed three technologists in 2022. It has five surgeons across seven facilities.
