Meet 5 new spine surgeon members of Aclarion's advisory team

Since October, Aclarion added five spine and neurosurgeons to its advisory team.

The surgeons are tasked with supporting the company with Nociscan, a SaaS platform that facilitates diagnoses of the spine.

Here's what to know about each surgeon:

John Keller, MD. Dr. Keller is chief of neurosurgery at Wyoming-based University of Michigan Health-West and works at Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Great Lakes Neurosurgical Associates. His practice includes artificial disc replacement, complex spine surgery, robotic spine surgery and minimally invasive surgery.

Sigurd Berven, MD. Dr. Berven is chief of the spine service at the University of California at San Francisco. In July, he completed the first clinical use of NovApproach Spine's OneLIF interbody fusion device.

Juan Uribe, MD. Dr. Uribe is division chief of spinal disorders at Phoenix-based Barrow Neurological Institute. He is also a professor and vice chair of neurosurgery.

Eric Potts, MD. Dr. Potts is a neurosurgeon at Indianapolis-based Ascension St. Vincent Hospital and a member of the board for Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine in Indianapolis. He is also chair-elect of American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Joint Section on the Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves.

Christopher Ames, MD. Dr. Ames  is director of spinal deformity and spine tumor surgery at UCSF, according to a company news release. He's also co-director of the UCSF Spine Center.
