David Kaye, MD, is a spine surgeon at Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute.
Dr. Kaye received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his residency at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases; both are in New York City. He graduated from medical school with honors, and during his residency, he received the Nate Bondi Award.
Dr. Kaye then completed a spine surgery fellowship at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. He's authored multiple publications, book chapters and abstracts. His research interests include long-term effects of lumbar fusion and the outcomes of neck surgery.
He was named on SpineLine's "20 Under 40" list. SpineLine is the primary publication for the North American Spine Society.
