Corinna Zygourakis, MD, is assistant professor of neurosurgery at Stanford (Calif.) University Medical Center.
Specializing in surgical care of the adult spine, Dr. Zygourakis focuses on the treatment of complex spinal disorders, including spinal deformity, revision surgery and spinal tumors.
She has adapted minimally invasive, motion-sparing and robotic surgical techniques into her practice.
Dr. Zygourakis graduated from Harvard Medical School in Boston and completed her residency at the University of California San Francisco.
She completed a combined neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery complex spine fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Dr. Zygourakis has published more than 40 articles and book chapters on healthcare costs, quality of neurosurgical care and spine surgery.
