Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Richard Meagher of Princeton Brain & Spine

Richard Meagher, MD, is a neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery with Princeton (N.J.) Brain & Spine.

Dr. Meagher is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons as well as the North American Spine Society and its Evidence Based Guideline Development Committee.

He has presented on a number of topics, including minimally invasive spine surgery, guideline development for spine care and the treatment of osteoporotic compression fractures.

Dr. Meagher earned his medical degree from Rutgers Robert W. Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, N.J.

He then completed a residency in neurosurgery at Temple University Health Sciences Center in Philadelphia.

Dr. Meagher underwent fellowship training at Temple University, Robert W. Wood Johnson Medical School and at Swarthmore (Pa.) College.
