Sravisht Iyer, MD, is a spine surgeon at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery specializing in minimally invasive techniques to treat spinal conditions including the cervical, thoracic or lumbar spines.
Dr. Iyer completed a research fellowship at HSS studying how to improve patient outcomes and pain control after spinal procedures.
His work has been presented at various international conferences and has appeared in several peer-reviewed journals such as Spine, Neurosurgery and the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
He received several honors at HSS such as the HSS Academic Achievement Award, the Eduardo A. Salvati Research Grant and the Weill Cornell Medical Center Distinguished Housestaff Award among others.
Dr. Iyer earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School in Boston. He completed his orthopedic residency at HSS and a fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
