Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Brian L. Hoh of University of Florida

Board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Brian L. Hoh, MD, is a professor and chair of neurosurgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

He is also chief of the division of cerebrovascular surgery, program director of neurological surgery and director of the fellowship in endovascular surgical neuroradiology at UF.

Dr. Hoh performs both direct surgical procedures and minimally invasive endovascular procedures for cerebrovascular disorders.

Dr. Hoh is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Heart Association. He is also past chair of the joint American Association of Neurosurgeons/Congress of Neurological Surgeons cerebrovascular section, an executive committee member of the CNS, a member of the Society of Neurological Surgeons and AANS among others.

He earned his medical degree at Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Hoh completed his internship in surgery, residency in neurological surgery and fellowship in interventional neuroradiology at Harvard University at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
