Robotics

Think Surgical is partnering with Concordia University in Montreal to develop artificial intelligence algorithms for robotic surgery.

A $250,000 grant is funding the three-year project, according to an April 28 news release. The partnership aims to create advanced image registration algorithms using machine learning and AI. The results may be incorporated into Think Surgical's robotic technology for orthopedic surgery.

Research will be conducted at Concordia's Impact laboratory.
