Bethlehem, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute has added sports medicine surgeon Leighann Krasney, DO, to its Mountain Valley Orthopedics team.
Dr. Krasney specializes in shoulder and elbow injuries and will perform rotator cuff tendon repairs, shoulder and elbow fracture surgeries, as well as shoulder replacement procedures at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono in East Stroudsburg, Pa., according to a Nov. 14 news release.
Shoulder replacement procedures had not previously been offered at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono.
Dr. Krasney primarily diagnoses and treats shoulder and elbow injuries and conditions, but also evaluates patients with fractures and wrist and hand injuries.
