Orthopedic technology company Corin has reached two new milestones with its Apollo robotic-assisted surgery platform and its OPSInsight technology.
According to a news release shared with Becker's, the company marked 500 total knee arthroplasties with its ApolloKnee system, the only system "capable of delivering pre-resection robotic assessment of knee balance through the full range of motion." The Apollo system was launched in June with regulatory approvals in the U.S., Europe and Australia.
Corin also recorded 50,000 total hip arthroplasties using its OPSInsight system, which analyzes individual spinopelvic mobility pre-operation and creates a 3D visualization of each patient's hip during daily activities to plan an "optimized implant position" for each patient's unique anatomy.
