Visie has introduced continuous anatomic auto tracking for robot-assisted total knee replacements, according to an Oct. 10 news release.
The CAAT technology aims to enable Visie's 3D scanners to continuously track the primary bones making up the knee joint as they move.
Visie also aims to integrate CAAT technology with a robotic arm, moving in sync with the knee during surgery. The technology could be used to facilitate pinless robot-assisted total knee replacements.
