Neal ElAttrache, MD, is set to operate on Alex Singleton, a player for the Denver Broncos, on Oct. 15 in Los Angeles, according to a Sept. 30 report by 9 News.
The procedure is to repair a torn ACL in Mr. Singleton's right knee, which he suffered the injury during a game on Sept. 22.
He continued to play during the game, but swelling in the knee afterwards prompted medical exams and revealed the injury.
Dr. ElAttrache is the head team physician for the Los Angeles Rams, another NFL team.
