Duane Pitt, MD, has opened Spine Disorders of Texas, a new advanced spine care practice in Flower Mound, Texas.
Dr. Pitt is an orthopedic surgeon who provides care for spinal conditions, according to a Nov. 20 press release.
He has been practicing since 1997. His practice emphasizes prevention, conservative medical management and surgical techniques for spine-related conditions.
From 2006 to 2011, Dr. Pitt served as the spine service medical director for Scottsdale Healthcare's Osborn, Shea and Thompson Peak medical centers, which are now part of Scottsdale, Ariz.-based HonorHealth.
Dr. Pitt is also affiliated with several hospitals in Texas, including Medical City Plano & Frisco, Crescent Regional, Legent Orthopedic Carrollton and Eminent Medical Center.
