Bonesupport's Cerament G, an injectable combination antibiotic bone graft substitute, earned FDA market authorization.

Cerament G is the first injectable of its kind and can be delivered in a single procedure to support bone remodeling and protect bone healing, according to a May 19 news release. It is designed to prevent bone infection that can arise from fractures, orthopedic implants and foot ulcers.

"This is a significant recognition for the power and promise of our technology, as we are the first-to-market in the U.S. with this breakthrough combination device," Bonesupport CEO Emil Billbaeck said in the release.
