Ortho Regenerative Technologies published the results of two scientific studies validating its product's ability to improve the repair of rotator cuff tendon and articular cartilage tissue.
The rotator cuff study was presented at the Orthopaedic Research Society Annual Meeting, Feb. 2-5 in Austin, Texas. Highlighting the results of a dose ranging study, the presentation gave insight into how the study used MRI and histopathology to compare the results of Ortho-R versus standard care options.
Results showed Ortho-R improved rotator cuff healing processes in a large animal model. The study will be published in the Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine.
Ortho RTi has produced 16 peer-reviewed abstracts, posters, manuscripts and podium presentations in the last two years on its various technologies.
