Regenerative medicine company Osiris Therapeutics named Samson Tom as president and CEO.
Here are three things to know:
1. Mr. Tom held several leadership positions at Osiris between 2003 and 2011. He served as vice president of research and development for surgical orthobiologics at Bioventus before rejoining Osiris.
2. Jason Keefer, who previously served as interim president and CEO, will transition to lead the organization's commercial functions and serve as chief commercial officer.
3. Osiris offers placental, bone and cartilage tissue allografts. Its Prestige Lyotechnology is designed for the storage and shipment of living tissue at room temperature.
