Alex Mohit, MD, PhD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Puyallup, Wash.-based NeoSpine.
Dr. Mohit specializes in complex spine surgery. He received his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California, where he also earned a doctorate in neurobiology. He underwent skull base fellowship training at University of Washington Medicine's Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and completed complex spine surgery fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute.
Dr. Mohit has performed more than 5,000 spine procedures in his 10-plus years of practice. His research has been published in several peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Mohit is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American Medical Association and Congress of Neurological Surgeons, among other professional organizations. Dr. Mohit is fluent in Farsi and Spanish.
