Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital in New York City has added a Stryker Mako robot for hip and knee replacements, according to a June 1 report from QNS.
The robot is one of 15 health projects in the area paid for by $21.3 million in federal funding secured by U.S. Rep. Grace Meng, according to the report.
LIJ Forest Hills also recently added two da Vinci surgical robots to the hospital's robotic surgery program for bariatric, gynecologic, urologic and cancer surgeries.
