2 New Jersey Devils players out following orthopedic procedures

NHL players Dougie Hamilton and Tomas Nosek of the New Jersey Devils are both out indefinitely following orthopedic procedures to treat injuries suffered during gameplay. 

Mr. Hamilton, who suffered a torn left pectoral muscle during a match against the New York Islanders, underwent a procedure performed by team orthopedic surgeon Guillem Gonzalez-Lomas, MD, and chief medical officer Jonathan Glashow, MD. 

Mr. Nosek, who re-aggravated a right foot injury, underwent surgery performed by orthopedic surgeon Martin O'Malley, MD, of New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery, according to a Dec. 1 press release from the NHL.
