Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center joined Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company and will partner with Premier Orthopaedics.
Together, Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center and Premier Orthopaedics will have more than 50 locations and more than 265 providers, HOPCo said in a Dec. 19 news release. The combined entitiy will be one of the largest musculoskeletal platforms in the U.S.
Both practices will have access to HOPCo's tools and analytics supporting orthopedic practices.
"We see this partnership as an opportunity to grow not just in size and efficiencies but also in our ability to continue to deliver excellent patient care across a larger platform," Patrick Kane, MD, CEO of Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, said in the release. "Our partnership with Premier Orthopaedics will allow us to provide more comprehensive care for our patients across the entire musculoskeletal spectrum. At the same time, joining HOPCo will allow us access to a larger infrastructure that will help accelerate our growth and lead further efforts in value-based care."
In the last 12 months, HOPCo inked partnerships in Pennsylvania, Florida, Wisconsin, Nevada, Michigan and Arizona.
