Three insights:
1. It is a standalone anterior cervical interbody fusion device used as an adjunct to fusion at one or two contiguous levels of the spine.
2. The Nexxt Matrixx Stand Alone Cervical System is used to treat skeletally mature patients suffering from degenerative disc disease.
3. The device requires one single fixation with the bone screw provided.
