Cesar Ceballos, MD, founder of OrthoMiami, performed Miami's first BEAR procedure — a case involving a 19-year-old patient.
Dr. Ceballos has completed more than 2,500 ACL repair surgeries in his nearly 25-year career, according to an Aug. 25 news release from the practice. The BEAR implant is designed to bridge the ACL and allow the patient's blood to repair the ligament.
