Valencia, Calif.-based DISC Surgery Center at Gateway has expanded access to minimally invasive spine care in the region since its acquisition by TriasMD earlier in the year.
Trias has integrated the ASC into DISC's model, while also investing in surgical equipment including the Zeiss operating microscope, new spine tables and microsurgical instruments.
Physicians Mark Liker, MD, and Bjorn Lobo, MD, have begun performing outpatient spine procedures at the ASC, according to a June 28 press release.
The two neurosurgeons are experienced in using minimally invasive techniques for a wide range of spine conditions, including sciatica, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, cervical radiculopathy, herniated discs and brain/spine tumors.
