11 new orthopedic centers in August: The Steadman Clinic, Rothman Orthopaedics & more

Eleven spine or orthopedic centers opened or were announced in August:

A new building housing the Steamboat Orthopaedic and Spine Institute and the Steamboat Surgery Center opened in Steamboat Springs, Colo.

The Steadman Clinic submitted plans to build its fourth orthopedic clinic in Basalt, Colo. 

Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute opened a new facility in Bordentown, Pa.

The NorthShore Spine Center at Skokie (Ill.) Hospital opened, as well as the Pain Center at Skokie Hospital.

Appleton, Wis.-based ThedaCare broke ground on its $144 million Orthopedic, Spine and Pain Center.

Bradley, Ill.-based Oak Orthopedics presented plans for a $15.5 million surgical facility to the village of Bourbonnais, Ill.

The University of New Mexico Health Sciences campus in Rio Rancho broke ground on the UNM Center of Excellence for Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation.

Fremont, Calif.-based Silicon Valley Orthopaedics opened its second clinic in Foster City, Calif.

Jackson-based West Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic broke ground on a new office building in Paris, Tenn.

Summit Medical Group opened an orthopedics-focused office in Paramus, N.J.

Richmond-based OrthoVirginia moved its Alexandria, Va., office into a new building in the city and combined its McLean and Vienna offices into a larger facility in McLean.
