Benjamin Welborn, MD, joined Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics, a department of Pardee Hospital in Asheville, N.C.
Dr. Welborn is a sports medicine surgeon who specializes in ACL and ligament reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, management of sports-related injuries, arthroscopic surgery and total joint replacement, according to an Aug. 14 news release.
He earned his medical degree at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Health Center in Chattanooga.
