Orthopedic group keeps 5 clinics open to ease COVID-19 strain on hospitals

Practice Management

With five fully staffed clinics in operation, Georgia Spine & Orthopaedics is offering to care for patients whose elective hospital procedures were canceled or delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, according to a March 18 statement posted online.

The Atlanta-based practice said it will provide office-based procedures as well as operations at the Surgery Center of Roswell.

Georgia Spine & Orthopaedics enhanced cleaning protocols in accordance with CDC guidelines and continues to monitor the agency's recommendations for limiting the spread of the coronavirus.

Patients are advised to call if they need urgent orthopedic or spine care.

"We are committed to continuing to provide care to our patients as we do not want anyone suffering unnecessarily during this time," the practice said on LinkedIn.
