Pioneers Calexico (Calif.) Health Center held a ribbon-cutting Feb. 19 for its renovated facility that expands pediatric and orthopedic services, reports the Imperial Valley Press.
Pediatric care is now provided on a full-time basis with orthopedic services offered part-time by a visiting surgeon.
The $4 million project added 1,600 square feet to the now 7,600-square-foot center, which features 30 exam rooms for its primary care, pediatric and express clinics.
The facility sees about 23,000 patients annually.
