Astura Medical partners with Academy Medical company to advance spine presence

Astura Medical partnered with Academy Medical to facilitate contracts within the Department of Defense and enhance its footprint in the spine device market, reports Medical Tech Outlook.

Three things to know:

1. Astura Medical is growing at a rapid rate and reported an annual revenue growth of 104 percent last year.

2. The collaboration with Academy Medical, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, will support improved healthcare for veterans and active military members and their families.

3. Academy Medical seeks to create an efficient path for government purchasing agents by providing strong sales channels for medical and surgical vendors.
